Crossing Cultures: Sounds, Sights, Words & Textures

This run of events will tie in to Performance Sonoma with a series of eight performances spanning various cultures of the global community. At the same time, the Center’s gallery will feature visual art and literary exhibits showcasing art and poetry that express the stories, experiences and contributions of immigrants to America.

The Crossing Cultures: Sounds, Sights, Words & Textures runs September 7 through October 26, with events every Friday night for eight weeks. Some highlights of the performance schedule include Iranian/Middle Eastern music performed by Global Paradigm Ensemble, music and dance performed by members of the Redwood Empire Chinese Association and Klezmer & Israeli music performed by the Jubilee Klezmer Ensemble.
